Are these microwave & dishwasher safe?+
Yes — all Harmiche ceramic plates, cups & saucers, mugs, bowls and platters are microwave and dishwasher safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g. straight from freezer to microwave) for long-lasting life.
Are Harmiche ceramics food safe and lead free?+
Yes — all Harmiche ceramics are 100% food safe and lead free. Our glazes are non-toxic and comply with food safety standards, making them completely safe for everyday dining use.
What sizes are available?+
We offer a full range: Snack plates (6–8"), lunch plates (~9"), dinner plates (10–11"), deep plates, pasta plates, and serving platters (12–16"). Each product page lists the exact dimensions.
Do you offer sets? How many pieces can I order?+
Yes — most products are available in sets of 2, 4, 6, and 12 depending on the item. For bulk or custom orders (restaurants, hotels, gifting), please reach out to us at sayhello@harmiche.com.
Are the plates heavy or lightweight?+
Harmiche ceramics strike a balance — sturdy enough to feel premium and high quality, yet light enough for comfortable everyday use. They are not thin or flimsy, but not bulky either.
Can I use these on an induction cooktop?+
No — our ceramic plates and bowls are not suitable for direct use on induction. They are designed for serving and dining, and are safe in microwaves and ovens up to moderate temperatures.
How do I care for handmade ceramic plates?+
Handwashing is always recommended for longest life, though our ceramics are dishwasher safe. Avoid stacking too many plates directly on top of each other without padding. Keep away from extreme temperature changes. With basic care, Harmiche ceramics last for years.
Will the glaze chip or crack over time?+
Our glazes are kiln-fired at high temperatures for durability. Normal everyday use will not cause chipping or cracking. However, like all ceramics, dropping them on hard surfaces can cause damage — handle with care.
Are slight variations in colour or shape normal?+
Yes — and that is part of the beauty. Since every Harmiche piece is handcrafted by artisans, subtle variations in glaze tone, texture, and shape are natural and expected. No two pieces are exactly alike — each one is unique.
Where are Harmiche ceramics made?+
